2021 update

Two Hoots Glamping site is under new management who, following COVID restrictions, have decided to limit the re-opening to our two fully self-contained Shepherd's Huts (now each with their own toilet/shower rooms).

Up to date availability and bookings for our two Shepherd's Huts are now exclusively handled by AirBnb.

Lazy Day's Shepherd's Hut (first hut, nearest to car park): view/book on Airbnb

Keeper's Cosy Shepherd's Hut (last hut, furthest from car park): view/book on Airbnb

NB. Due to ongoing COVID restrictions and out of caution, no tents, touring caravans, motorhomes or glamping pods are currently available to book.

Our site remains as an exclusively ADULT-ONLY SITE which helps to ensure it remains a quiet and peaceful site befitting its stunning hilltop location with long distance south & westerly views over the Hampshire Hills.

Shepherds Huts

Two Huts at Two Hoots

Our Shepherds Huts sleep two with luxurious king-size bed. Each has it’s own washroom with toilet and well-equipped kitchen with all the pots & pans you’ll need.

They are fully-insulated for year-round cosiness. With a log-burning stove as well as electric heating you’re sure of a comfortable stay whatever the weather or time of year.

The verandas provide shade from the sun or shelter from any of the less pleasant elements that the British weather has a habit of throwing at us.

What is a Shepherds Hut ?

Shepherds Huts were originally a very basic mobile field shelter for use when shepherds needed to stay close to their flocks, particularly during the lambing season. They would have had a simple bed and a stove, and little else. The shepherd could bring the weaker lambs inside to offer some protection in poor weather.

With the relatively recent interest in Glamping, Shepherds Huts have taken on a new role, helped in part by television programs such as George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, in which all kinds of weird and wonderful structures are converted into offices, play or hobby rooms, or alternative forms of accommodation.

Two Hoots can now offer Glamping breaks in our Shepherds Huts as well as our Camping Pods. Gift vouchers are also available.
