just a quiet weekend getting away from it all, eating out on your decking area with a
beautiful sunset and looking out at the stars from the cosy warmth and security of
your very own Pod.


                                                      Pods are an ideal getaway especially for those who wish to travel light like hikers,                                                       cyclists or those that arrive on a steam train, the famous Watercress Steam                                                       Railway line is less than a mile from our site.

                                                     Our Pods are tucked in a bluebell copse within our campsite in the beautiful                                                       Hampshire countryside; we are in an elevated position so have a great view from                                                       the site. Come and live within the landscape and loose track of time !


What is a Pod ?

It’s a beautiful natural well-built, insulated, secure wooden camping hut that provides basic accommodation in place of the tent. It’s also 100% carbon neutral.                                                  

Pods are insulated with sheep's wool and have a special designed foil material to
help regulate summer and winter temperatures along with roofing tiles that are
designed with a noise reducing material within them, cutting down the noise of
heavy rain.
As we are open all year we have opted for additional insulation in our pods, to
provide extra winter warmth, making even the snowy winter months a cosy warm environment within a pod.

The pod has lockable French doors for added security and a small window at the back of the pod to help ventilate and give a 'through draft' on hot summer days. Both are double glazed to reduce condensation and provide sound insulation.

All pods have good headroom, but come in different sizes, we have the larger size with the interior floor area being 2.340 metres wide by 3.526 metres long.
They have a small porch for some shelter and a little decked area to the front with somewhere to sit, or put any wet gear before going inside.
Ours have an electric socket, heating, lighting, and carpet

Benefits of a Pod

What is in a pod
All pod sites offer different things, in ours you can expect the following:-
Roller blind to the entrance door, door mats, carpet, electric heater, an electric socket, and lights for all  year round comfort.

Two of our pods have a king-size bed and full bedding (not available if bringing a pet)
One Pod is available with or without the hire of a memory foam floor mattress that has
a tough waterproof covering material. (You will require your own bedding with these
mattress options. See Note below)


For those wishing to bring a well behaved family pet dog, we can now accommodate in our pet friendly pod. All that we ask is that you don’t leave the dog unattended in the pod at any time, or let it scratch the
pod, and if it’s muddy, remove the mud and dry them off before entering.
The pod is not available with bed or bedding due to allergies & hygiene. You do have the option of adding
the memory foam floor mattress with this pod.

Note:- All items that mention tuffie (with or without pets) has a specially made
tough waterproof covering, so hair does not stick, is easily washed which
helps us keep it hygienically clean.
This floor mattress is much thicker than a roll mat but only half  as thick as a
normal bed mattress.
If using these mattresses, we would advise for ease & comfort a quilt for the top
and bottom.

One of our Pods have had been adapted with with a lower threshold & ramp to
help accommodate wheelchair users or any person with a disability. Should
anyone with a disability wish to hire a Pod & require unpacking & packing up,
please do not hesitate to let us know at the time of booking. We will be more than
happy to help in any way we can.

Facilities available in main building for podders & tenting campers only (As they
have no facilities).
Wc’s with small sink, shower’s, combined WC and shower with disabled access,
sink with hot and cold water for washing up, shared fridge, kettle and microwave.
(Please note at present we have gravel to the facilities that we know is not
suitable for disabled access, we are looking to pave this area when funds allow).

Not permitted in a Pod or on porch.
No smoking, cooking, candles, fires or heaters other than what is supplied. (Due to fire risks & condensation)

Pods are available throughout the year. Prices start from £45 per night

Min a night stay at W/E and 3 night B/H.
